How we review

The star rating on a review page is a judgment call, not the output of a formula. There is no hidden weighted average and no subscore table that adds up to the number you see. I sign up, deposit, open boxes, and try to cash out at every operator I cover, then rate the result of that experience against operators I've already been through.

What gets checked before a rating is set

• Trust signals — how long the operator has been operating, whether the company behind it is named anywhere on the site, and whether licensing or ownership claims hold up to a search.
• Provably fair verification — if an operator advertises provably fair drops, I check the claim myself and record the date I last confirmed it works as described. That date appears on the operator's fact sheet as "Provably fair verified."
• Payout complaints — I track how many unresolved withdrawal or non-payment complaints I can find against an operator across forums, Trustpilot, and Reddit at the time of review. That count is shown on the fact sheet and factors into the rating; it is not hidden or averaged away.
• Bonus terms — whether the sign-up offer and any promo code are stated in plain language, and whether the wagering or spend-through requirement is easy to find before you deposit.
• Box selection — whether the boxes on offer are varied and current, and whether what's advertised in a box matches what actually gets pulled or shipped.
• Support — whether a real person responds when something goes wrong with an order or a withdrawal, and how long that takes.

Why there's no scoring formula

A weighted formula looks objective but hides the same judgment calls a plain rating makes explicit. Two operators with an identical payout complaint count can still earn different scores if one stonewalls support tickets and the other doesn't. I'd rather state that reasoning in the review than bury it inside a spreadsheet you can't see.

Reviews get re-checked

Bonus terms, box lineups, and payout speed all drift over time, so a rating isn't written once and left to rot. Each review carries a "Last checked" date, and the provably fair and payout complaint figures are refreshed on the same pass.

Commission does not buy a score

This site earns a commission when a reader signs up with an operator through a link here. That relationship is disclosed, not hidden, and it has no bearing on the rating: an operator with a bad payout record gets a bad review regardless of what it pays for a referral.
